Description

Inspired by the globally beloved educational puzzle, the tangram, this line of Hasami block mugs features animals and vehicles created by combining several specific shapes.

This is a demitasse cup for espresso that holds approximately 50cc (1.7 oz) when filled to 80%. It can also be used as a small bowl for sauces, snacks, or bite-sized desserts. When serving a meal on one plate, it's great for holding things you don't want to mix flavors with, or for sauces and jams. It also adds a nice accent and makes the meal look more appealing.

It's also recommended as a mug for little kids. The clay is made thicker to make it less likely to break even if handled roughly. The clay is made using heat and pressure, resulting in a dense, strong, and durable material. Although the outer form has a rugged, angular design, the rim and inside of the cup are rounded for easy cleaning.
